blenavhh.gif (1060 bytes)can be used with the EEZ H54. Many locksmiths, including many industry technical articles, agree that using the EEZ H54, and the TO-3 Aero try-out set, is one of the fastest methods to produce a working key for the Ford 10 Wafer system.
bulletThe Aero TO-3 set comes in a box, a little bigger than a brick. Inside, there are several smaller boxes which contain the try-out keys. These smaller boxes are labeled using the 5th and 6th cuts. For example, if the 5th & 6th depths in the door lock are 4 and 5, you would go to the box labeled "4 - 5". There can be as few as 6 keys, or as many as 20 depending on the depths. Each key is cut on both sides and are half cuts. Once you find the key that works, simply go to the provided chart and cut or clip the keys until you find one that works.
bulletIf all goes well, and it certainly should, you will know why the FORD H54/H60 EEZ READER and the TO-3 are deemed "THE FIFTEEN MINUTE FORD".

is designed to decode the modified Ford 10 Wafer lock system. This system first appeared in 1991 on many Escort and Tracer models. Unlike the standard 10 wafer system, this does not use the first 3 spaces on any lock in the vehicle. Although, a factory original key will have all 10 cuts, you do not need these spaces to operate the locks. The code series, furthermore, has not changed.

bulletIf you prefer impressioning rather than decoding, be aware of the 5 depth wafer. It has been modified and is shorter than the rest. You can impression a 4 in the door, and have it work. But sometimes, it's really a 5. The ignition lock is expecting a 5 and it will not work. However, the EEZ H62 reads a 4 as a 4 and a 5 as a 5. This is another reason why this tool is a valuable asset to your auto work.
